Data backup has been fairly high on my list of things to constantly consider ever since I lost all my univeristy pictures 3 years ago. Came across a device called Drobo and DroboShare today, the first ever automatic robot backup solution. It’s a pretty spec’d up piece of kit allowing you to store four 1TB drives and hit swap them if one of them ever fail. The list of enterprise features also puts it up there in my opinion as one of the best backup solutions you can currently buy for under £400 (excluding the hard drives). You can also add DroboShare that ensures your data can be accessed from anywhere on the network. Genius.
